Chevron has "energyville" on their site where you can visit and type in your zip code and build your city with whatever common type of energy that is being used today. Also listed is advantages and disadvantages of the type of energy you choose. Once you start choosing and placing energy in your city, the city gets energized and vehicles start moving, etc. Very informative! CommentsThe use of alternative types of energy is on the rise. Did you know the small state of New Jersey currently has at least 4,000 solar-panel systems which makes it the second most solar-powered state in the USA? And if you ask who is first? The answer is California. Go Solar!!

My advice to you is to get married. If you find a good wife you'll be happy; if not you'll become a philosopher. Do you agree?

Linda - USA - I have a strong desire to live in a cleaner, more energy efficient country. There is so much dirty air and water and sickness and disease. My mother died with cancer, and I have had many friends and acquaintances to die with cancer. The area I live in is high risk for cancer. And for addressing an economic view, so much money has and is being paid out to power suppliers when renewable sources, such as solar power off grid and alternate wind energy is free! Why don't we use human energy and see what we can do to provide a healthier place to live and save money at the same time. ArchivesCategories |
